Why ATX Attorneys Exists
Finding a qualified attorney in Austin is harder than it should be. The State Bar directory lists thousands of lawyers. Review sites are full of paid placement and gaming. Most people end up calling whoever shows up first in Google and hoping for the best.
We built ATX Attorneys to close that gap. We connect people who need a lawyer in the Austin metro with attorneys in our network who practice in Travis County courts. We cover the practice areas where people most often need help: personal injury, immigration, family law, criminal defense, estate planning, employment law, bankruptcy, business law, and real estate.
What we don't do: operate outside the Austin metro, take cases ourselves, or charge people who submit a request. The attorneys in our network are independent practitioners. The only attorney-client relationship is the one you decide to start with them.
The Process
How the Referral Works
You submit a request
Name, phone, and the practice area you need. That's the form. We don't need the details of your case at this stage.
We route your request
We match your practice area to the right attorneys in our Austin network. Every attorney we work with is licensed in Texas and actively practices in Travis County.
An attorney contacts you
Within one business day, an attorney from our network will reach out directly. You'll have a real conversation — not a call center intake script.
You decide
Whether you move forward with that attorney is entirely your call. Submitting a request through ATX Attorneys does not create an attorney-client relationship.
Important Disclosure
We Are Not Your Attorney
This needs to be clear: ATX Attorneys is an attorney referral service, not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice, and we do not represent you in any legal matter. The attorneys in our network are independent practitioners — they are not employees or agents of ATX Attorneys.
When you submit a request through this site, you are asking to be connected with an attorney. You are not hiring an attorney. An attorney-client relationship begins only when you and an attorney have both agreed to it — typically in writing, with a signed engagement agreement and a defined scope of representation.
We partner with attorneys across the Austin metro who are licensed by the State Bar of Texas and in good standing. The service is free for you because attorneys in our network sponsor their practice categories. For the full referral relationship disclosure, see the link below.
